Did the job for a lay over .. Check in experience was.. just above average. Barely any communication from staff. Room was ok. Smelt extremely stuffy and had a weird odor to it. Did the job for the night. Everything was either above or below average for this hotel stay. They had 4 shuttles parked outside the hotel to get us to the airport but only one was operating .. which left us w no choice but to Uber. I specifically picked this hotel close by to JFK to take the free shuttle.

Our shuttle service was not available as advertised when I made my reservation and when I called to confirm my access to the shuttle. I had to pay a taxi $30 for my transportation to the hotel. When asked if we would be compensated for our taxi fare; we were told that the staff was instructed NOT to allow compensation. I want to compliment the shuttle driver we had the following morning. Trying to find out how to take the shuttle to the hotel I was on hold eventually told I was 124th in the w to speak with someone, I waited on hold eventually told I was number 122 so I hung up. Asked around to to take a but to where all the hotel shuttles worked from. One of the reasons I chose this property was based on the airport shuttle service. Guess what? No shuttle service available….not in nor out! I paid close to $400 a night…and the frond desk agent was not even apologetic about it.
