I used computers at work but we had people who set everything up and fixed things for us. I wanted a printer that we could use at home and that I would be able to set up with limited knowledge, so I read the reviews and settled on this printer. I have always had ink jet printers and was constantly running out of ink because ink would dry if printer was not used frequently. Did some research and opted for the HL-2390DW and I love it. When not in use it is in sleep mode saving power. Wakes up and prints in just a few seconds and believe me printing with a laser jet is much cheaper than ink jet! If you want to print pictures go to the drug store it's much cheaper.
Easy to operate, quality printing and scanning. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Somewhat challenging setting it up for wireless printing. One of the least expensive laser printers, good value for the money. It does duplex printing, scanning, and copying.
Great product purchased 2 of them one for myself and one as a gift. I should have bought it long ago. Highly recommended!
Great printer. The text is sharp and it prints at a very fast rate. Network connectivity is great. My only complaints with this printer is that I couldn’t find the drivers on Brother’s website and had to load it off the provided CD, which was a hassle. I also wish the included scanning software had more features like letting you crop the document or at at least better auto crop. I wanted to switch from an ink jet printer to avoid the endless ink issues. After reading reviews I chose this printer. It was super simple to set up and I’ve printed from my phone and iPad as well as computer. If you don’t have to have color printing and you’re tired of ink problems this is a good printer.
Best printer that is all in one. I use it at all business and it is the best.
Reasonable price and performance, but 3 issues: (1.) the print window that comes up provides very few print menu options, which I have never seen before on any printer, (2.) the procedure for hand-feeding single pages for printing is not good, and (3.) the Best Buy website does not indicate that the printer comes with a toner cartridge, and the in-store Best Buy staff confirmed that this printer does not come with a toner cartridge, so I bought a toner cartridge when I ordered the printer.
