The good: It’s in a pretty good location to see a lot of sights in lower Manhattan. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water. The bad: It wasn’t cleaned very well when we first got there. It was humorously small to where my partner and I couldn’t move past each other without getting on the bed. Location was ok.
Not clean; hallways reeked; specifically smelled of marijuana and urine. seriously had to open windows in 40 degree weather to air out the TINY room. it looked as though hallways hadn’t been vacuumed in 6 months. we NEVER are particular people but in this case we actually checked out after one night of a 4 night stay in NYC.
I got a left over room because they claimed to not have seen my name in the system. That sucked! The bathroom was horrible. Shower water ran right onto the floor. The toilet ran all night. Horrible!
Sheets were dirty and so was a towel. Room was also hot and we cannot control it from the room yet the hallway was freezing
the room was a dump and the Manager has bad customer service skills. Never will I stay at Holiday day inn again, waste of money.
