Just finished installing the Soundbar and Bass Subwoofer. From removing it from the box to finish took about an hour. Just like to save anyone who installs this some time, it states in the instructions of you have a HDMI (ARC) input on your TV all you need to hook the soundbar to the TV is this one cable. Well this was not the case with my installation, but it was still easy. Just use the supplied optical audio cable also between the soundbar and the TV and "Wah La" sound. Pairing the soundbar with the bass subwoofer was very simple. The sound is great, I set mine to movie mode on the soundbar. Go to settings menu for your TV and set speakers to "external", mine was preset to "TV Speakers".
Have another one arriving Monday for the TV in the MB. I researched Soundbar's with wireless Bass Subwoofer/s till I was about to give up and go with a full blown Surround Sound System. Then I read the reviews on the Sony HTCT390 and all the features it comes with. With the price just a few dollars shy of $300.00, 2" thick soundbar and the Bass Subwoofer which can be installed upright or laid on it's side, this was all I needed to make my decision. You can mount the soundbar on the wall and the mounting hardware comes in the box. I just laid mine flat on the stand, just in front of the TV and being only 2" high it does not interfere with viewing of the TV. Sony has high quality electronics at great prices and this is one of them. Gary Las Vegas
