Update: a representative called me back eventually and gave me an offer to compromise. I'm happy with the follow up but It shouldn't have taken that long or me escalating it
Absolutely horrified at the customer service at this location (Square One). It took me almost 20 minutes to finally talk to someone, after being hung up on more than 3 times and kept getting manager's and department's voicemail. The person I finally spoke to someone from Houseware or whoever dealt with home appliance, who was extremely rude! Simply gave me no choice or bothered to listen to my question about an straight exchange for a Nespresso machine. I understand if the answer is "no" but there is absolutely no need for a rude attitude. I asked to speak to a manager where she got even more defensive and hung up. Just appalling. I still haven't gotten an answer to my question.
