My mother has attended Huron valley pace for over three years now. Staff is amazing! Pace gives my mother of 79 yrs old something to Look forward to Monday thru Friday. She may forget somethings . Mom never forgets she getting up to go to workshop. Mom comes home with her crafts she makes and is just so happy to show them off. She looks forward to seeing her shuttle drivers. These are the most caring and compassionate people! My husband has dementia but every morning he looks forward to coming in. He's made friends and memories. They have a clinic onsite which is super helpful.

Sadly my mother goes to this location for over a year now. When she went to the Pace in Sterling Heights the staff was terrific! The clinic was well run & their communication with our family was done properly. The care in the clinic at the Ypsilanti location is either too short staffed or not doing their job unfortunately. My mother has needed cataract surgery done for over a year. No one has contacted us about how to proceed. Dear Sonja Love-Felton and all of the caregivers at the Huron Valley PACE program, I wanted to share how special your program is and how much we loved and appreciated the care that you took of my brother, Chris F who passed away on 8/25. He was challenged with Down Syndrome and Alzheimers. If you need good medical care, don't join this agency. The agency needs better management. The staff are all sweet and want to do a good job but they can't seem to manage to do so. I've had 5 different nurse practitioners in 10 months because the other 4 all got other jobs. Trying to get a colonoscopy scheduled has been the most frustrating thing I've had to do in years because they are terrible at follow through. The social worker who is supposed to help me get dental appointments, etc., is terrible at follow through. They... read more
