Get directionsI called on Friday the 17th because our dog was not doing well due to cancer and was told it would be a 4 hour wait. Saturday when we got back home he had declined and I was told it would be a 3-5 hour wait (I called at midnight) Sunday I called 3 different times and was told each time it would be at least a 5 hour wait.. our family plan was euthanasia due to age and health conditions.
We have spent thousands on our animals over the years here. We bring 4 of our babies here and have referred several family members. Over the last 6 months or so, I’ve seen a lot of new faces from the staff. I’m hoping the service gets better as I feel it’s gone downhill. The last 3 appointments that I made (literally just puppy vaccines and checkups) I’ve waited almost an hour in the waiting room and even more time once in the room. The front desk is struggling too. I called today to ask about my puppy that got spade 2 weeks... read more
Misdiagnosed my daughter’s kitty, and charged an outrageous price. If we had taken their advice, we would have either spent $2000 more dollars, on top of the $900 already spent, for tests or had her euthanized. It was the holiday weekend, and when we were able to get in to see our family vet, he diagnosed her in less than two minutes. All that was wrong was a middle ear infection. Two shots and some ear drops and she is back to her spunky self.
Our puppy was very sick this morning, we drove all the way from Granbury to Hudson oaks to be turned away saying they are not treating emergency patients because they’re short handed. 3 employees were standing at the counter visiting yet they are short handed. If they can turn one away that’s very sick yet see the ones that need a soy or nails clipped / whatever, I’m not sure I’d want to trust them with my babies life. Enter at your own risk!!!
Originally was quoted at $120 fee prior to going for an initial exam on a kitty which is understandable. Once getting there and prior to the examination was automatically quoted at $600 for the exam when seeing my daughter crying with her cat. Was told needed to sign their form. Took complete advantage of our family in a moment of weakness! Then after questioning the jump up in price got told we were in humane and questioning our compassion for not wanting to sign a form saying we agree to start at $600. Poor professionalis... read more
Why did you release a dog to someone who locked pup in a hot car? Didnt police tell you a seizure warrant was forthcoming? That is what is being reported Dog was in bad shape.
Ive taken my dog there 2 times for the same reason, scotching his bum, 1st time heart worms, no answers whatsoever for initial visit, $2500 later he had the same issues….. Call for another issue with sores on his paw, sorry sir we can’t see him for 2 weeks, but if you want to pay an emergency fee we can get him in quicker. So, took him to ridglea west animal hospital in ft worth, got in the next day….best bunch of people in the business that actually seemed like they cared for their patients….. Doctors visit, exam, tests,... read more
Great staff but didn’t care that I sat in the room for 3 hours total. I was waiting on vet to come in and each time they kept adding on things to do, bill was over$1300. Added stuff on my bill, that I didn’t approve and tried to do SQ fluid without my consent. Only 1 vet there and vet kept getting side tracked. I left and will get a second opinion..
have been taking our three dogs to I-20 since they opened and have been very happy. Just took our border collie in for her annual 10 days ago and was told my dog had a UTI and given antibiotics and I needed to drop off a urine when she completed the meds. took the urine sample in, that I collected, and was told a quick check was going to be $76! WOW, JUST WOW!
