I just finished my undergrad at UTD and I was pleasantly surprised. I moved to North Texas from South Texas solely to come to UTD and at first, I hated it. But then - I really liked it. I made friends, went to parties, and did't have to join a fraternity or sorority. The best part of UTD is that if you're social, you will meet eveybody. Yeah... so I've been going here for the better half of the decade. I spent too much of my time here figuring out what I DON'T want to do later in life. UTD is a great university. It's in the mid-range price wise and the classes are medium to small size so you really get the attention that you can't get at larger universities. No offense, Frank, but it's a STATE university, so of course they accept federal aid, which makes it even better because it provides high quality education to people that would otherwise never get the chance. A good no-frills university. Your bill is on the house if you're one of the lucky ones, but it kinda reeks of desperation for a good clientele. To use an analogy, good parties tend to have long lines to get in. So what do you think about a place that pays for the hotties to come in? Oh, by the way, the most of the staff here is a waste of your tuition money or taxpayer dollars.
