Flawless operation for 3 years and counting. Bought in 2013 to replace a single speed pump from 2006. Pump has worked without a single problem since installation. Quiet, and in 3 years has more then recouped all additional cost over a single speed unit. Pool power consumption is down over 50%. (This will vary depending on your current pumps draw, runtime and how you have the speed settings and run time set on the epump. Pump does require some plumbing modifications as the port locations are unique to the e-pump and stealth series. controlled by an iAquaLink RS.

Great pump to replace an old 2HP Great pump to replace an old 2HP, single speed pump. The electric bill savings was so significant that this will pay for itself in about 7 months! I should have done this years ago! Reasonably easy to install, and super quiet! NOTE: when the description indicates that this pump can be controlled by your PDA, it fails to mention that the PDA needs to be version 4.0 or newer. I have an older PDA and had to go back and purchase an separate controller to run the pump. Ours was purchased from Rare Pool Parts.com, through Amazon. They were very good to deal with! The pump was slightly damaged in shipping, and the folks at Rare Pool Parts were quick to ship a replacement and send a return label.

Great Upgrade This is an excellent upgrade to the earlier models. They have redesigned the basket area for better flow, easier insertion of the basket. The motor runs much quieter even at comparable speeds to my older unit. The cabling compartment is much improved; easier access to the controls wire block. The previous model had this block nested under the frame, making it difficult to tighten screw. The unit is far more effecient, I am using approx. 200 watts less in order to push 50 gpm compared to the earlier model (from 2009)! I run it at 1700 rpm as opposed to approx. 2300 rpm now. If the motor lasts, this unit will pay for itself in a few years.

Easy to Install, Works Great!! Replaced a worn out Jandy Stealth with this variable speed model using the JEP-R e-controller. Total installation was less than 2 hours. Easily bolted in and connected to the existing plumbing. E-controller was easy to connnect but programming is a little complicated. I used a sprinkler control box to mount the e-controller out of the sun (as suggested by the manufacturer). The pump is quiet and my electricity bills have dropped considerably from last summer.

Works seamlessly with iAquaLink Replaced a 2 speed pump with this. Have a Jandy AquaLink Rs with iAquaLink and the interface is really nifty, showing the pump speed as well as watts being consumed. Like the precision with which you can control the pump speed depending on different situations. Also runs very quiet.
