Purchasing our vehicle at Jim Click Nissan was a good experience and I am thankful for the experience. Servicing the vehicle at Jim Click Nissan is a much different experience. I approached the service department at Jim Click Nissan indicating I was somewhat under the mileage for obtaining the service for life services but I am going on a trip back east and from there to the west coast and would be significantly over the mileage requiring service. The service writer agreed and indicated if I was significantly over the mileage it could impact my warranty so I should have the vehicle serviced and that service would cost me $80 plus dollars because I was under the mileage required for the service for life. I paid the $80 plus dollars for the service that I hoped would be covered by the service for life. My trip has been completed and I am taking another trip to the west coast, and my mileage is over the recommended mileage for service. In my attempts to have my vehicle serviced by the dealer who sold me the vehicle has not been successful as they tell me the earliest, at that time, was near mid January 2019 and they were booked up on not performing drive up services. I left and started thinking about the situation and called the service department again and the person I talked with indicated I could call around to all the Jim Click Dealerships and see if they could perform my service for life services. This situation, in my belief is very poor customer services. If the dealership who you trusted to purchase your vehicle from cannot service the products they sold you in a timely manner, I view this as a problem. If you need to go to another Jim Click dealer for service, I think Jim Click Nissan should take the vehicle to their dealer of choice who performs the maintenance for life instead of the customer begging for services from a dealer they did not purchase the vehicle from.
