I had two pairs of curtains altered by Johnsons - one pair was shortened, the other pair required dividing to make two pairs of smaller curtains from the one pair. I am delighted with the results, excellent work. My two new pairs from one, look fantastic, saving me hundreds of pounds in not needing new curtains. Highly recommended.

If I could give this company a 0 star then I would. My wedding dress was sent off and cleaned by them last November, unfortunately my wedding dress never made it back to me. A year on and I still havent got my wedding dress or any resolvement. I dropped off a pair of jeans with your branch (Waitrose, Lincoln) for a simple repair on the 24th October. I paid for repair there and then and was told it will be ready 7-10 days time. I have just been informed today by the staff at the branch that it is still not ready for pick up - three weeks after I dropped it off. I asked when will I be able to pick it up and I was told nothing will be done until when the tailor comes in next week. The staff on the phone actually said to me 3 weeks wait is the norm. I took 2 pairs of good quality expensive Laura Ashley curtains for cleaning,( that had been cleaned 4 years previously at the same place ,without any problem.I have also had 2 other sets of curtains cleaned there earlier in the year ,ok)2 of the curtains were creased in the middle where they had been scrunched up on the hanger when I rehung them at home. Very poor service, I left there my double bedding, pure white. I specified that I want washing and ironing. When I picked it up and unfolded at home I noticed the marks were still there and the bedding hasn’t been ironed! I phoned them up to check what service I had done and the lady over the phone said: medium wash and folding :( Very disappointed that the person who took my order did not listed properly. Don’t think I will use them again.(Lincoln, Waitrose).
