My husband and I recently contracted with Kepple's to replace much of our home's flooring with hardwood and area rugs. From the beginning Doug Kepple was a true professional. He worked with us and helped us stay within our budget. He made sure that the hardwood install was done properly. Marci Kepple was invaluable with the selection and sizing of area rugs. Her eye for colors and design were truly appreciated and made our home look like a showcase. I highly recommend Kepple's for your flooring needs.
As an Interior Decorator in the area, I have worked with Kepple Carpet for many years. This family owned business has proven to be a wonderful alliance for me. They have a wide product line and a wonderful staff. Great customer service. Several locations in the area, but the Berlin store is the "Superstore".
This is my second carpet with this company. The first was outstanding which is why I came back again. This time not good. The installation could not be done on the date requested because the installer could not pull up the carpet. This meant I had to move the furniture twice. The second time was done this past Saturday ( 10/19) The best installer who has been with the company over 10 came. Well, the carpet was not put under the floor boards in many places, the seems can be seen, trash was left for me to pick up and the carpe... read more

I am in receipt of this comment. It is unfortunate that the customer has chosen to write a negative review of a carpet job that was done properly. Although it is true that we had to go back on a second day, this was due to a glue-down carpet that simply would not come up with normal man-power. We did not charge the customer for the machine we had to use to rip-up the aggressively-installed prior carpet. I spoke with "Joe." Horrible experience!! Carpet installers ripped my sofa and damaged the railings and wall. Instead of carrying the sofa up the stairs, they decided to try and lift the sofa over the railings on the floor below. When they decided to carry the sofa up the stairs they were not careful and caused divets and and scraping on a 8 month new paint job. Please understand that, as part of the installation process, we have successfully moved thousands of pieces of furniture without incident. In this unfortunate case, we had to figure out a way to squeeze through a tight space to remove the sofa from the room. We sent extra man-power in to help dismantle the sofa to remove from the room. Keeping it short: Used Kepple's 3x previously--no complaints, great work on hardwood inlay and pattern. Salespeople, estimators and installers all professional the first 3x's. 4th time was a disaster. Spent $11K+ on carpeting including 2 staircases. From initial visit at Berlin store with what now appears to either be a new or incompetent saleswoman, to polite installers saying on site they couldn't do the inlay in hallway ,to the Kepple's owner having to show up at 6pm on 2nd day to show them how to cut the carpet with inla... read more
