We had a spectacular time. The location was amazing. The staff in the friendliest, nicest most helpf Air conditioning. The window was loud and struggled to keep up. We were less than a block off Central Park. The location was absolutely perfect. The restaurant in and around this location are some Of the best in the world.

GREAT VALUE! Book the King bed to get the larger room! The elevator was small but ended up not being a problem - we were often alone. GREAT location! Half block to Central Park & in the heart of Upper West Side & surrounded by lots of great restaurants! Before booking, we read several bad reviews. We are SO HAPPY that we ignored those! We were VERY pleased with the staff, breakfast, location, and the value! Make sure to book the Kingsize bed - you get a much larger room. The Double bed is in quite a small room.

The location could not be beat! The room had definite maintenance issues. The knob to the shower kept falling off (it needs replacing), the dresser did not stay closed (I shimmed it with napkins to keep it closed), some of the drywall was working loose in the ceiling. It’s an old Brownstone, but much more can be done. The doors to the stairs and elevator could use some control arms to keep them from slamming shut. It is the little things that do matter!
