POOR MAINTENANCE!!! Checked in Thursday afternoon. Were given room 230. We hurriedly unpacked and left to meet friends for dinner. Returned later to find that the A/C was very noisy. When compressor kicked on, sounded like a jet engine spooling up! Also noticed strange noises seemingly coming from above. Picture "popping" or "thumping" sound of fireworks going off. Extremely disappointed Dirty bathroom, no blankets in room , no air conditioning on second floor hallway it was extremely hot. Elevator smelled like body odor. Close to where I was going.

Fair The hotel staff was extremely nasty. They were rude and disrespectful. My television did not work during my entire stay. When i called the front desk on the phone the staff was very nasty. I then went to the front desk to speak to someone else, again met with unprofessional staff who could care less. I was then told that someone would contact me Monday for a refund. Unprofessional front desk stuff set the tone for a lousy stay. The man at the front desk who checkup in at 1 am was rude and unprofessional. He repeatedly told us that our credit card was declined for a $50 hold, yet the pending charges showed up on our card account. We called the card issuer who said that they card had never been declined and that basically, the clerk didn’t know what he was doing. We got no apology, no feeling of hospitality from thus person. Not the type of hotel we like to stay at. See above comments. Firstly we waited over 30 minutes for the shuttle after calling the front desk several time. The room was large and very uncomfortable. The lighting was very poor and when we left our room we walked in both directions to find the lobby but not having signs for which direction to walk it took us a couple of ways to find the lobby.
