I/we stayed at this La Quinta for an early flight, confirmed a 5:00 a.m. shuttle, was in the lobby with eight other people at 4:50 a.m. but the driver never arrived. Despite everyone’s urgent need to get to the airport, the front desk attendant couldn't provide a solution though we suggested one of them drive and/or a supervisor be notified. **UPDATE** I got my refund! But I had to go through my bank to do it. Thank you for your response, but I think it would have been easier and caused me a lot less hassle if someone at the front desk gave me the owners e-mail initially. This review is not related to any hotel stay or rooms, just on the reservation system. I reserved two rooms in February under one reservation transaction on the website and then cancelled it the same day because I'd changed my mind. It turns out only one room was cancelled. One of the worst hotels, the doors to go in to the hotel would barely open, the a/c in the lobby or in the elevators were not functioning, as it was hot. It was more fresh outside, since it was a nice day outside. Tried to go to the pool, the pool was dirtier than a pond. Couldn’t even enjoy that. The room was smaller than I thought. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and accomodated us checking in a little bit early. She did tell us they were remodeling because the building was very old. One of the elevators smelled like cigarettes, the hallway was extremely hot and one of the closet doors in our room wouldn't open. Despite those things, it was a pleasant visit. We stood 1 night, the room was clean & cool and the breakfast was good (had plenty of options and space to eat).

The staff in the front were great despite it being such a late check in. It would be great if we could communicate with the front desk instead of some random operators who made the process difficult, initially. Room for 2 nights was good. AC was great. Thankfully room had microwave and fridge. View was a plus! Thanks! Will continue as a rewards member!
