My room was clean had a coffee maker,microwave, the bed was a king size very comfortable I slept like a baby very quiet hotel very nice customer service. And they are pet friendly too I travel with my Combat Vietnam Veterans service dog she is blind I can't leave her alone he has passed on 5/9/2023.
4/13. I had checked this hotel . We immediately had attitude from the front desk . We had checked into our assigned room 321. The bedding wasn’t changed from whoever previously stayed in room . The bedding smell like body odor . There was hair in bathroom . Front desk guy said he couldn’t do anything . He was busy . My wife expressed her concerns . Paying 172.00 . While the rooms were just okay, the location was more in town for those needing something actually in Waxahachie. However, the way they handle your money definitely needs to be scrutinized. I booked through a third party and when I arrived at the hotel was asked for a $50 deposit. I understand that a hold of some sort is normally put on cards in case of accidents and on/in-room charges. Clean room, fresh linen & friendly front desk staff. We stayed here for one weekend and enjoyed our stay. There’s a nice Pho place across the road and an HEB nearby. Great experience!
The La Quinta Inns have a reputation for being pet friendly. Not this location they charged extra, which we could have avoided had the receptionist been honest on the phone. They also stated the pool and hot tub were open. There was no hot tub. The pool door prevents people from coming back inside the building. Overall, dishonesty lured us in, and we were stuck paying extra for our pets.
