LOOK Dine-In Cinemas at W57 (657 W 57th Street, NYC) is a luxury movie theater in the VIA 57 building, featuring eight screens. I was surprised to hear from a friend of mine in California who had gotten me a gift card for a new movie theater with dining! The Look theater provided an amazing movie-going experience, and I really appreciated the great bartender at the bar. Inside comfortable recliner seats along with food service, Aa absolute enjoy watching the movie. I will come back again soon for more entertainment and fun.
While the concept is great, this location is a consistently terrible experience. All the time. I have an infinity membership pass and have been 20+ times, and EVERY time, an order is wrong, the bill’s charges are incorrect, food doesn’t come, things are forgotten, slow, etc. Each time I’m there, a manager is apologizing to many customers for wrong orders or ones that never arrive. We went there for the New York Horror Film Festival to see the premiere of Voltaire's new movie The Demonatrix on Friday December 5th. Beautiful pyramid shaped exterior of the building, the theater entrance is easy to find, inside has a bar, restaurant section, and couches. The theaters are cozy and have comfortable seats. The staff was very attentive, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. It was our first time there, and we will definitely return.
I recently celebrated my birthday with a private event at this cinema, and it was everything I could have imagined and more! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they took such great care of me and my guests throughout the evening.
