My mother has been treated at this facility for the last 5 years. I'm happy to say she is now cancer free. It's been a difficult journey but with the help of the whole staff at MacNeal Cancer Center she was able over come Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The staff of receptionists, nurses and technicians are always so courteous, friendly and super helpful. Dr. Kim has a wonderful bed side manner with his patients and he comes with many years of experience.
Rude nurse I called Dr. Berry’s office this morning to inquire about outstanding test results. He said it would take 2 weeks which would have been last Thursday the 4th. I waited a bit longer assumed a possible delay due to the holiday. The nurse called me back and started the conversation blaming me claiming I never went into for the lab. I highly recommend getting a second opinion if you are currently getting treatment at MacNeal Cancer Center. My mom has been a patient since 2019, her primary Oncologist Dr. Ma left the practice in May of 2023 and we tried switching her to Loyola in Maywood. After months of trying to switch her to Loyola, we decided to switch her to Rush. We transferred all her medical records there and after more testing we found out the medication Dr. Ma prescribed her was not for her based on her needs. Representatives are no help.
Don't go to this hospital. My husband was hospitalized for 10 days and they never gave a diagnosis, and his cancer progressed. Dr. Berry prescribed him cancer medication for 4 years, but it didn't work, and it grew to stage 4.
