First time I was there, their receptionist attempted to charge me extra $15 on top of my copay, falsely claiming that it was per my plan. This clinic's receptionists have been snappy and super unprofessional. One receptionist weighed in on the lab results, while the other receptionist refused to pass my message to the doctor . Dr. Briggs is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She is professional, kind, and THOROUGH every time. It would have been easy to say it’s just this, here’s some antibiotics or rest. But she’s willing to do the work and order testing to find EXACTLY what is wrong and be sure there’s nothing serious being missed. A lot of facilities have super rude front desk clerks but the receptionists and all staff here are nothing but kind, helpful, and professional. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Briggs at the Norwalk Mercy.
I am going to miss MercyOne staff & Dr. Agey. He has helped both my husband & myself many times over. He takes the time (even when he is super busy) to listen & to figure out what's going on. Since our insurance is being an ass, we have to change clinics & doctors.
Nothing less than top care and professionalism. I've had both physicians as primary care givers. Dr. Agey for 20 years! Now I have Dr. Briggs with only positive things to say. Good people from the front desk to nurses to lab techs!
Dr. Briggs is a great professional, since we came to this center she has treated us exceptionally well. I only put a note to improve, the reception staff. I haven't seen a smile yet, not a thank you, not a please take a seat. Of course they should give them training in that regard.
