Excellent care and wonderful staff! The team was very concerned with the safety of its residents and went above and beyond to protect them from COVID and injury. Michealsen is well known in the community and rightfully so. Quality care from top to bottom
Michaelsen Health Center is a great option for aging relatives who need rehab from a hospital stay. The physical therapy and goals set for their patients are outstanding and therpists very compassionate. Both my parents have been in the facility and we were very happy with their care.
Excellent health care facility with a wonderful caring staff and therapists. I came here after having surgery for a broken neck. I was being fed through a tube in my stomach and was wearing a neck brace with difficulty walking and swallowing. After three weeks of therapy I was back living a normal existence.
before i begin my actual review....the pictures on yelp for Michealsen Health Center are NOT the facility. they are pictures of "the Holmstad" independent living portion. The Michealsen Health Center is the rehabilitation facility located at the Holmstad community. Very under staffed. My mom is now a patient there. When you call for help or assistance we have waited from 30-40 mins for help. My mother has not bathed or showered in 1 week. She said they have sponge bathed her which consists of being wiped down with diaper wipes. She is there for rehabilitation from a fractured femur and has gone to rehab 3 times in 6 days. I was recently transferred from Delnor Hospital to Michealsen Health Rehab for 14 days. Around the second day I was given an injection in my left arm. My arm swelled up, turned red and hurt badly. I was taken back to Delnor Hospital for the night and returned to Michealsen the next afternoon. The MD at Delnor said that the testing showed that I had a bacterial infection, I was put on antibiotics. No more injections in my left arm after that.
