I feel like the underwriter was not objective and biased. I think she was discriminating towards me as to my age and/or being a 100% disabled veteran. Other than that everyone I had dealings with was pleasant and would have no problem dealing with them again.

Tyler was kind and helpful. I was not pleased with the Overcharging of items on disclosures. I had to call and ask what they were for, and they were extremely high compared to others Ive seen. The Admin and processing fees, (when underwriting feees were 1195 alone), credit report fee, points were not discussed till after 2nd disclosure and they were changed midway thru process without telling me. I was asked multiple times to submit the same documents by different staff people; it seemed folks were not communicating with one another! I received the same message multiple times from different folks - again creating the same impression. I received a big talk up about a customer support person who would be with me throughout the process; he dropped off suddenly with no explanation. I didn't need this person, but it created a feeling of not being able to trust the message.

Mason did a good job but the process outside of him was very disappointing. They kept getting the spelling of my wifes name wrong, the communication was absent, they kept getting my wife's e-mail wrong even after sending to them twice, and the process took very long. Also there was no one avalible to answer question for the nortary while signing papers. The suspervisor that we talked to was very unpleasant and couldn't answer the question the nortary had. She was displeased with the service from Mutual of Omaha.
