Dr. Birk was very caring, compassionate and took the time to explain every detail regarding my MRI results and medical concerns. I wasn’t rushed and he thoroughly answered every question that I had. I highly recommend him.
Dr Kern is a very caring Doctor. He makes his patients feel like they are listened to and valued. This is a hard thing to find. He’s truly a good person and a very good Doctor.
Dr. Birk spent over an hour with me and answered every question. He used a large screen TV to show me my MRI and explain everything in a way I could understand. While I was there he called my primary doctor and pain doctor personally. At the end of the visit, he wrote down his cell phone number for me. I must say that this was the best experience I have had with a doctor.
Dr. Birk was well prepared for all my and my wife's questions. He explained the risks, surgery, recovery and medications I may need. After the surgery he was there to explain what had transpired and that the surgery was a great success and I should see improvement almost immediately. One of Dr. Birks greatest feature is his warm and caring bedside manner. Dr.Dan is very honest and knowledgeable. Explains course of treatment. Doesnt rush to cut you open or treat you like an assembly line patient. I definitely recommend him!

When i first met Dr.Birk, i knew this was the Doctor for me. He was understanding of my problem, we went over my MRI together on the screen. Unlike many other Doctors, he speaks with you not at you and you know right then that this Doctor is kind and knows what he is doing. I went to Dr. Birk after 2 other surgeons said they couldn't help me. He immediately identified the problem and cured me with an outpatient surgery. That would be enough but he also has a wonderful bedside manner and I can always reach him. Thank you Dr. Birk!
