Long story short, my folks got an estimate for a back splash based on my mom's measurements. The estimate was $450. Just this past Wednesday, the "official" measurements were taken by the O'Brien's employee. Turns out the correct cost for the back splash was three times the original estimate. The sales gal (Anna) apologized to my parents and stated she must not have entered the numbers correctly. Not cool. About 5 years ago I purchased carpet from O'Briens and I too had similar problems. Never buying there again.
