A great shop; I frequently roll in with small maintenance issues and they always seem to fit me right in and usually have small repairs or adjustments done in a matter of minutes. more »

The bike buying experience the way it should be! I love this place. The staff is very professional. They let me test - ride several bikes, and I ended up with the best bike that fit my needs perfectly. Christian, the sales rep who was helping me, is very knowledgeable, he answered all of my questions and explained which bike would be the best for me. He tuned my new bike, installed new pedals and even helped me to load the bike into my car! The best service. Love It. more »

Penn Woodbury hosted an "Indoor Cycle Training Kickoff" event last week (Nov 7) for Total Cycling Performance's winter training. What an awesome event! Over 40 riders, of all ages, genders and experience levels. Penn did a phenomenal job of helping riders get set up and fueled. Penn also did a great job of getting reps from several top-tier companies in to support the event.
Jimmie Kelley (store manager) and the rest of his staff deserve a ton of kudos for making everyone feel welcome. Thanks!

With great sadness we learned last October that my husband has terminal brain cancer. He then suffered a stroke at the end of brain surgery. Prior to these life changing events, he had been exceedingly physically active. One of his favorite activities was to go on long bike rides. Having lost the use of his left side, due to the stroke, we believed his biking days were over. On a whim we stopped by Penn Cycle to see if there might be a recumbent bike that could be altered in some way so Garry might be able to ride again. I had done some research and wasn't too optimistic. Store manager, Jimmie, immediately jumped to our aid. His positive, kind, 'we can do this' personality won us over. Garry now bikes at least one hour a day on his customized recumbent bike, fully equipped with computer and BionX motor and battery. It brings a smile to my face every time he bikes away. Garry grins ear to ear. Thank you Jimmie for your compassion, zest for life no matter the circumstances and being willing to spend so much time getting my husband back on some wheels. Oh - Service doesn't stop when you leave the shop. Jimmie has vowed that he's 'our man' as long as Garry owns the bike. And I know he means it. Penn Cycle is not your ordinary bike shop. It's much, much more. T H A N K

I just purchased my first "nice" bicycle because I am ready to take my riding to a new level. I first visited the other option here in Woodbury and test drove a bike. That same night my husband and I went to Penn and had an amazing customer service experience that convinced both of us that Penn was definitely where we would make the purchase. Thank you Dave and everyone at Penn cycle for making this transition fun and comfortable for me:) more »

We have been struggling with our special need son with his bike and not keeping up with his friends and cousins. He was very afraid and apprehensive about riding a bike he is 9 and has never even tried to ride. I was in the shop looking for some bike parts and Jimmy started talking to me about my kids. I told him about our son and he offered to help him learn to ride a bike. After 30 minutes with Jimmy he was balancing and feeling more comfortable on his bike, Jimmy gave me some helpful hints and offered to have him come back for a second or even third time of instruction. It Wasn't needed, the next day our son road his bike by himself for the first time in our driveway, and we cant keep him off it now.
It is amazing to me that someone would take the time to teach a child to ride, its the kind of thing you just dont see anymore! Thanks Jimmy and for Penn Cycle for hiring such a wonderful worker!
Thanks, or daughter is next!!!

I am partial to Trek bikes so Penn Cycle is an obvious place to go as they carry a good selection of Trek models and they are very knowlegable about everything cycling. Brian and Penn Cycle are also great to work with. They go out of their way to anticipate and solve problems. Just as important to me they work hard to make me feel good about every experience I have with them. I can echo other reviewers in saying that Brian and the other people at Penn will take good care of you. more »

Okay so It's Brian Miller and Penn Cycle in Blaine to the rescue once again. I had a pretty horrific crash that resulted in a damaged frame that couldn't be repaired. I called Brian with a two day window before I left for CO and a week-long bike tour. Within an hour Brian checked with Trek and ordered me a replacement bike through the discounted crash replacement program. Trek gave me the crash replacement discount ON TOP of the sale price. Tomorrow they'll put my Dura Ace components on the new bike and send me on my way.
The best part is that this is what I've come to expect from Penn Cycle in Blaine. If you're a committed cyclist riding a high-end bike, this is a shop that will take care of you.

The staff and service at Penn Cycle and Fitness in Eagan are fantastic! Our sales associate Josh was very knowledgeable about their bikes, bike products and services. The manager Chris was also extremely helpful. At Penn Cycle and Fitness we were able to spend a great amout of time with Josh and never felt pressured into making a decision or that they were just trying to make a sale. We were able to test ride a ton of bikes, which was awesome. We left there with the perfect bike and are looking forward at going back soon. We recommend them to anyone looking for a bike, parts, accessories or service! more »

I took my Trek bike that I bought from Craigslist here to this location. Even though I did not purchase the bike from the store they helped me with some minor issue I was having with the bike without any cost. I am a beginner biker so I had a lot of questions in mind. The staffs here answered my every question in detail without any hesitation. This is a great bike store with friendly and helpful staff (Dan and Chad). more »
