Clearer communication about timing including details of what step in the process we were in. Confirming documents received or still needed sooner.
Too many different contacts. Too long a process asked for same docs repeated times poor communication until Buchanan got involved Just a refi of existing penny Mac loan. Took far too long and disjointed. Really bad experience
Kelly was so helpful and answered all of our questions! It was my first time refinancing so I had a lot of questions, but the support I received along the way was extraordinary!
Amazing customer service from start to finish...the whole process was fast and easy.
I could barely even get in touch with anyone. Emails were sparse when there was slight communications. Kami only called me once or twice through the whole process. The people working on my refinance mixed up my title company and their under writer so the process took longer because of Penny Macs mistake. No one took responsibility at Penny Mac and it took my title company to fix the issues. NO ONE LISTENED OR TOOK ACTION.
My interaction with Natasha was excellent. She always answered my questions thoroughly when I needed more information. Plus, upon closing, she walked me through the entire closing statement, and answered all questions to my satisfaction. She made this process really easy for us.
Initial staff I spoke with were professional and followed through as expected. However, Glenn was terrible at following through... I felt I had to chase after him to make sure he communicated with the closer and the title company. Admittedly, my closing situation was complicated by the fact that my husband was not initially available to sign the documents as he had been deployed to a fight CA fires for an unknown amount of days. Excellent experience would refinance again through PennyMac
I had to reschedule my closing 3 times because the documents were not accurate. The first time my hazard insurance was not included in escrow. The 2nd time my loan dropped by $3500. Also the check amounts for my creditors were not correct . One payment check was $660 more than my actual balance. It was partially my fault because I didn’t check the balances at closing but it was my understanding that 3 days prior to closing the amounts would be checked. They were not. I’m glad it’s finally over
