While I know timing is important in home buying, communication with our team was often stressful and last minute. Most of the time we would get an abrupt "needs to be done ASAP" message, email or call with little to no warning that it was coming. Understanding some of the more outrageous requests would help. Communication by email only was complicated. Many requests seemed irrelevant to getting a mortgage. We asked the real estate agent if this is normal and there were a few things she was confused about. This is the first time buying a home but I felt uncomfortable. The whole process was terrible. Too many ups and downs. Inly answers were please bring more money. At the end of the day we were approved for our loan and got into our home. It was not pleasant and we definitely didn’t love the process.

After I signed, answers to questions went from taking seconds to days. I still haven’t heard back about my escrow so I’m not sure what’s up. Usually I get answers very quickly. I hope she is okay!
