Owner Randy VanderWerp started Rockford Floor Covering in 1981 in a small store front in Downtown Rockford. As a second generation in the industry, Randy first worked for his father’s flooring store, later became a wholesale representative, and then decided to go back to his passion, a flooring store. Purchased carpet to replace carpet installed by our builder only 3 years ago. Original carpet was terrible, and installation was equally terrible. Mitch (Sales) with Rockford Floor Covering helped us select a quality replacement carpet and pad for our entire carpet areas in our home. Ray was great to deal with on purchasing our flooring for our new home. However, the installers are a different story. We had carpet and laminate installed in our new home. The carpet installers had to return twice for issues. The laminate flooring is cut so short in areas, That the molding and the shoe won't cover it. I'm almost wishing I would have done this myself.
