Well Deserved Couples Massage
When I visit Breckenridge as I have for the past thirty years, after a few days on the slopes, my wife and I look for a some type of relaxation in either massage or reflexology. There are several we've go to more then once at Breckenridge but find some are no longer in business, or have changed their menu of services ,or are priced out of this world (We're not in Beverly Hills).
In looking on Trip Advisor we came across Sol Impressions which I've seen many times since I've frequented Downstairs at Eric's which shares he same building.
In making the reservation we read about upgrades available with your massage and one was the Tibetan Massage upgrade for $20. I learned that this type of massage is long strokes and designed to release your Chakra's (look it up on Wikipedia, you'll be surprised); we took this massage.
Before you enter the studio you must remove your shoes, but you'll get slippers so don't worry. After filling out the routine paper we met our therapist. I had Jessica, I forgot who my wife had. Jessica will tell you up front she's "big nd strong" and give a very deep tissue massage if I want; I went moderate pressure which was perfect.
The massage took a hour and the deep stokes were well worth it. This has the combination of Swedish, Shiatsu, and Thai all rolled into one. At the end they ring a gone over you Chakra's to release the negative energy; very unexpected but nice.
I felt great afterward and now we are sold in Tibetan Massages.
Prices were much less then expected even with the upgrades.
We'll be back.. in mean time take I recommend Jessica .
FYI: parking on the street is probably the best to access Sol Impressions; it is a fee to park on the street. There is parking in the back but the lot entrance is far away and you may never find a spot.
