Dissatisfaction would be an understatement if I were to review my latest service visit with this Mazda location. 1. First, I get to the front desk and let them know that I have an appointment for a checkup of my vehicle. I immediately get told that i’m not on their appointment system and because I did not make an appointment I would have to wait even longer. Was attended today by Harry Kim. Although we were not ready to purchase and were just exploring options he was super informative about car options and helped us to find what we want to eventually get. He wasn’t overly pushy and was super professional and respectful. For anyone looking to buy or exploring options I highly recommend this place and working with Harry.
Dropped my car off for a battery issue. Took them 24 hours to run a diagnostic test, they said battery was fine. Took it to another dealership to have the test run, now having battery replaced under warranty. Hard to get anyone to answer phone here or give any updates. For reference, I dropped my car off Friday afternoon. When I called on Saturday for an update, they recommended i call back Monday or come in person for a progress update because no one was available to give me an update over the phone.
I brought my car here twice; the problem still has not been identified or fixed, and the lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. It’s one thing to be unable to diagnose a problem, although I would expect a dealership to be able to, but there’s really no excuse for the lack of communication or transparency. I never once, on either visit, got an update without first calling and texting repeatedly to request one. My car won’t start after sitting for about 5 days. Love love love. We had our car towed here and the service department was absolutely wonderful. We were kept up to date by text message with the progress. They even sent a video of the mechanics inspection and showing us exactly what was wrong. Everyone was absolutely great.
