Been going here for about half a year now. The staff are great, the quality in service is amazing, and the personable but professional attention to detail is fantastic. Specific shoutouts: To Emily at the front who is always smiling and greeting me and helping schedule my next visit. She is pretty cool to say the least. Dr. Kolen and the entire team at Spy Hill Dental Clinic are highly professional, experienced and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The front desk staff are exceptionally friendly, patient and welcoming. I always have a positive experience and highly recommend this clinic.

I used to have a very positive experience here, but in recent years it became harder to book appointments due to reduced hours. In my recent visits, the office also no longer completed insurance pre-determinations in advance, which previously helped me avoid unexpected costs. In my experience, for several services, the fees I was charged were above the Alberta Dental Fee Guide. After moving to Canada, I spent almost a year looking for a new orthodontist, as I was not able to continue my treatment with the doctor I originally started with. I visited nearly every specialist in Calgary but couldn’t find one whose approach to treatment aligned with mine. Dr. Kolen found a solution that is less invasive and truly suits me.
