Dr. David C. Hoffman is Board-Certified and a Diplomat in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is the Director of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital. After completing his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Dr. Hoffman spent two years as a NIH Fellow at the University of Wisconsin Medical School and then received his DDS at NYU College of Dentistry. While a student at NYU Dental School, he received a distinguished fellowship to spend two months at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. Janet and maryellen greet me every time I come to the office with a big smile .It makes you feel good as soon as you arrive. . All the nurses and staff here, are extremely helpful are courteous. This is my favorite office because the staff make it a great experience. Dr Hoffman is the best and his name proceeds him. Id highly recommend him.

I have had the pleasure of being one of Dr. Mark Steins patients for a year now. When i first came in to see him, it was due to a large infection that deteriorated my upper jaw above 2 of my teeth, the infection was pressed up against my sinus canal, and Dr. Stein reassured me through all of my fear that he was going to get rid of it all and make sure my smile was perfect in time for my wedding which at that point was 11 months away. As you would expect from any oral surgery, you anticipate being bruised and swollen. Dr Stein did such a remarkable job on my extraction i barely swelled, and had no bruising what so ever. He was so attentive and took him time to make sure he was able to remove the infection and managed to only extract one tooth, instead of two which they prepared me for. In the months following the extraction, it was time to receive the next part of the procedure and that was to perform the bone graft. Dr. Stein took my past health records into account and decided a traditional cadaver bone graph wasn't the best option for me, so instead we did a new innovated procedure called Infuse for the bone graph, again i was told to expect large bruising, hours and days following the procedure i was thankful again to have very little swelling and no bruising at all. Dr. Stein and all the staff have been phenomenal, they are caring and want to make sure at all points that you are comfortable. Dr. Stein has a way about him that makes you feel so comfortable and not scared. His way of reassuring you gives you a scene of comfortable before any surgery. If i have any other mouth procedures that ever need to be done, hands down Dr. Stein will be my first call.

i have been coming here for procedures and followups and call with questions and they have always been more than helpful and accommodating at this office. i would recommend them highly.

Being a coward ... I was pleasantly surprised to have such a pain free experience from my consult in discussing my options, to the surgery and after care. I highly recommend this office as the entire staff was nothing less than comforting and helped make my nerves to be put at eases.

My experience at Dr Hoffman's has been nothing less than a life changing experience. From the time i was referred here as a junior back in 2009 until the date of my surgery in 2014 I was treated like family from the receptionists at the front desk all the way back to the surgeons made it feel personal, and everyone knows you by a first name basis. If you ever need an Oral Surgeon I highly recommend Dr Hoffman he is the absolute best at what he does and he travels around the world to help children with his surgical gift and was even on the discovery channel for it.

Dr. Hoffman and staff were beyond exceptional. I had a dental implant. That was needed after a trauma,it wasn't the typical implant due to the injury....
