I use to work there and it was probably my favorite job ive had. Their mission statement is to provide legendary hospitality that starts in the kitchen all the way to the guest leaves and it shows the people that work there are awesome. Everyone will be greatly missed and one last thing GOODNIGHT STILLWATERS!!! more »

Went to dinner last night and have to say Stillwater’s has really stepped up their game. Started with a lovely gin and ginger beer cocktail that had a nice combination of flavors including a little cucumber as well. Since we got it on Happy Hour it was also 3.00 off yay!
We decided to start with the Tots with Korean Ketchup which was a little sweeter and spicier than regular ketchup. And then also got an order of Tuna Poke to share. Both items were delicious, perfectly seasoned and nice presentation as well.
We didn’t want to get too full so we split a hamburger, it was delicious however did have the drawback of having soft butter lettuce on it.
I really don’t like soft lettuce on a burger it really doesn’t add any crunch or flavor and usually just increases the slide factor so you end up chasing the meat as it tries to escape off the opposite side lol.
All in all it was a very nice dinner.⚜️

I have been going to Stillwater since I moved to the area over 2 years ago. This is usually my favorite spot to go to, and every time we have friends in town or family we take them there. Last night was my first bad experience with Stillwater. We had a group of 9, and we were sat right away, everyone was very excited to try out this place since I had been raving about it. First thing wrong was our waitress was very unprofessional, she had pink tails and her shirt was half way unbuttoned. She was very scattered and would twirl her hair while talking to us. I should have taken that as my first clue that things were not going to go so well. We ordered drinks, myself and a few others got the number 31, I have had this drink many times. It is usually light and refreshing but this time it was a dark red color and very syrupy. None of us enjoyed it (some of my friends didn't even drink theirs). Next we ordered some appetizers all of which I had before, poke, smoked fish spread and the artichoke dip. All were insanly salty. The smoked fish spread had also been changed, it came out on a bed of lettuce instead of in a mason jar and had an orange tint to it, my friends said it tasted like tuna fish from a can. Super disappointed, not sure why they changed it but they need to change it back to the original recipe. Our entrees came out and every single one of us thought the food was overly salty again! I sent my fish and chips back because I couldn't eat it. My waitresses response was she didn't know why the food was salty and that she didn't make it. We asked to speak to a manager and our waitress came back 20 mins later saying she couldn't find him. Not a single person was happy with their experience, and told me they would never eat there again especially for what you pay. I've had so many wonderful dinning experiences with Stillwater, I am not sure what has changed but I hope that they can address and handle the issues in the kitchen and with their wait staff. It'll be a while before I try coming back again. more »

Hi Alex, we are so very sorry to read all of this. We will forward to the chef and General Manager today. If you would be so kind to private message me the name of your server, that would be a huge help in resolving some of the issues you had during your dinner. Thanks so much.

Legal
O restaurante está localizado numa rua muito bonita e agitada. Ocupamos uma mesa da calçada e ficamos curtindo o vai e vem de turistas e locais. A comida estava boa mas a salada ceasar f

Best brunch I have ever had. I’m vegan and I had the falafel burger, I asked not to have the cucumber yogurt sauce because of my dietary restrictions and the waitress made sure to tell the kitchen to also not put butter on the burger buns. Amazing mimosas. Well worth the trip up from Manatee County. more »

Great atmoshpere and Food
We had dinner here. With reservation we were seated very quickly. A very friendly and funny server had our drinks out quickly. The menu is varied and has something for
everyone. My clam chowder was awesome. All main courses were a good portion and hot and tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very warm and it is clean. I would eat here again. more »

Casual good food ...GREAT SERVICE
The space is large but has enough people serving to make your experience fun.
They have a full bar and American menu.
We stated with artichoke dip t
hat was delicious!
Key West pink shrimp & grits was good.
Tavern Burguer was ok.
They serve a cuban sandwich that I will not recommend. (not even close to a Cuban sandwich).
In general was a good experience!

Great food, drinks and service
We arrived for happy hour and enjoyed a lovely gin drink (#84) on tap as well as the #711. Both were great. We started in some deep fried cheese curds and moved on
to creole mac and cheese and the gyro burger. Mac and cheese was great with the right amount of spice. The burger was okay. We had service from Izzy who was very attentive, gave personal recommendations and was very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place more »

Lunch Birthday Party
Reservation for 6 on Sunday 1PM - Staff was very accommodating and the later lunch time gave us plenty of time to party. A large beer selection, but we aren't beer drin
kers. The Bloody Mary's were okay but not consistent. First Drink had 3 olives, Celery and lime - whereas the second drink had 1 olive, no celery and 3 lemon slices. Strange... We ordered three appetizers, Pretzel with Cheese fondue, Artichoke dip and house fish spread. I think the favorite was the Artichoke dip, with Pretzel the second runner up. The variety of lunch items included: Cuban,Tavern Burger, Salmon Salad and huevos rancheros. All seemed to enjoy their food. (no complaints). The waitress was attentive and plenty of drinks / water... After lunch a little gift opening and lots of talk, not rushed and very enjoyable. more »

Good restaurant in a wonderful area
You go to downtown St. Petersburg these days, and the streets are full of young people walking everywhere, and stopping into all of the wonderful bars and res
taurants.
We strolled along with the best of them, and took in some art galleries, and then decided to get something to eat.
Stillwaters Tavern was the choice, and we had the Shrimp and Grits -- which was a somewhat unsatisfying version of the southern specialty.
The drinks were good -- but overall this was a pricey restaurant.
