I have been going to Stillwater since I moved to the area over 2 years ago. This is usually my favorite spot to go to, and every time we have friends in town or family we take them there. Last night was my first bad experience with Stillwater. We had a group of 9, and we were sat right away, everyone was very excited to try out this place since I had been raving about it. First thing wrong was our waitress was very unprofessional, she had pink tails and her shirt was half way unbuttoned. She was very scattered and would twirl her hair while talking to us. I should have taken that as my first clue that things were not going to go so well. We ordered drinks, myself and a few others got the number 31, I have had this drink many times. It is usually light and refreshing but this time it was a dark red color and very syrupy. None of us enjoyed it (some of my friends didn't even drink theirs). Next we ordered some appetizers all of which I had before, poke, smoked fish spread and the artichoke dip. All were insanly salty. The smoked fish spread had also been changed, it came out on a bed of lettuce instead of in a mason jar and had an orange tint to it, my friends said it tasted like tuna fish from a can. Super disappointed, not sure why they changed it but they need to change it back to the original recipe. Our entrees came out and every single one of us thought the food was overly salty again! I sent my fish and chips back because I couldn't eat it. My waitresses response was she didn't know why the food was salty and that she didn't make it. We asked to speak to a manager and our waitress came back 20 mins later saying she couldn't find him. Not a single person was happy with their experience, and told me they would never eat there again especially for what you pay. I've had so many wonderful dinning experiences with Stillwater, I am not sure what has changed but I hope that they can address and handle the issues in the kitchen and with their wait staff. It'll be a while before I try coming back again.
