Went to see Herb Albert and Lani Hall at the Strathmore and the performance was outstanding. The acoustics are unbelievable in this venue. Highly recommend attending a concert here for your favorite musical artists. Every seat is a great seat. The food is good if you need something to eat before the show and are in a pinch for time. Seating feels communal.
The concert hall at Strathmore has quickly become one of my favorite venues for live music. Some of my all time favorite concerts have been at Strathmore. The acoustics throughout the venue are great. The design of the concert hall is warm, comfortable, and provides an intimate feeling regardless of your seat. Parking TIp: Park along adjacent streets if possible to avoid the long line exiting the parking garage. I've waited approx. 30-40+min waiting to leave the parking garage.
Saw Leslie Odom Jr. And had a great time. There was times of mic feedback but I don't know if that was the venue or the artist fault. Parking was great for us as we parked on the street for free right in front to avoid the garage. Beware, this isn't like the Kennedy center if you have mobility issues. Whereas the KC has escalators on each floor, this place relies more on elevators which means there's a long wait sometimes as they only fit 8ppl. Pic is from row BB on the aisle.
I was able to see the Young Artist of America here and it was amazing. The acoustics are so beautiful and obviously the venue itself is cleaned and very well maintained. I love coming to shows here.
We were there for Seán Heely’s Celtic Christmas and were very impressed with the facility as well as the performance. It was modern, spacious, clean, and our seats provided a good view of the stage and the acoustics were fine. I get a kick out of the negative reviews regarding the parking garage and the time it takes to get out after a concert.
