Do your homework and ask specific questions! This group talks a good game. They only came in twice a week to care facility to take care of my dad's hygiene needs. When we called to complain, they were Johnny in the spot to take care of his needs with a new caretaker. Im not saying that they are at a level 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. But if you are not at the facility to watch over your loved one, make sure that you are clear in your expectations. We're highly disappointed and would not recommend them.

After knee surgery, I was referred to Sutter Home Care from Rehab. I needed to have physical therapy promptly before my knee tendons tightened up. It took two weeks to get to PT. It took a week before the PT assessments when it was suggest that I discontinue home help and go to outpatient PT. Getting discharged from Sutter home care so could get outpatient PT was a nightmare requiring multiple calls to an inept telephone receptionist. I finally got the outpatient PT appointment 2 weeks after rehab.

Zero stars...the home health folks were awesome...but, when my client came to end of life care with SUTTER HOSPICE...it was beyond awful....the admission nurse was knowledgable and compassionate...but, the nurse that came out 2 days later was a poor excuse for a "nurse"...she was more concerned about the bed delivered 6 hours later than scheduled the day before than her patient....she caused a bleeding skin tear on his arm, noticed it, didn't clean it or steri strip it...just left it until I mentioned it...she promised suppl... read more
