We love this place!!! It’s our go to before CAPs games, but recently disappointed with the chicken tenders. I think they changed the offering & not for the better. Would not order them again unless they were back to original recipe with “real” tenders, not chicken breast sliced to resemble tenders…and the breading is crispy. Please bring back the real tenders!!!
I’ll be honest, I went in thinking it would be bland but I’m happy to say the experience was great. The cocktail flight was very well done, the food was elevated pub fare, and the atmosphere was a little corporate but very relaxed. Location is ideal for pre-gaming an event at the Capital One Arena. Service was excellent.
Always great service, even when super busy before an event at the arena.
Amos is a great server very welcoming and very attentive.

Everything at Taffer's was amazing as always. Michael was a wonderful server and took great care of us. The food and drinks were delicious! A+ ... it's our favorite spot when we're in DC, especially for the Caps pregame.
Our server Rae was fantastic. Attentive without rushing us. Food and drinks were good.
Great food and cocktails. Very entertaining in the presentations of both to our table. Our server, Joshua, was fantastic. He made for a fun and enjoyable night. We will definitely return!
