When Dad suffered a stroke in June of this year and needed long-term care, we were clueless where to begin. Somehow, we landed on Takacs McGinnis' doorstep, and what a blessing that was! They have diligently guided us through every step of tending to Dad's long-term care needs. We had the peace of mind of knowing they had our backs and Dad's best interest at heart. I simply cannot recommend them enough to anyone needing assistance in their area of expertise.

My career has been involved working as a Department Head in higher education, working in Urban Renewal and Housing Management, working in long-term care as a limited partner and serving on the Board for housing for the elderly for two religious institutions; and serving as a Board member for the National Caucus and Center on the Black Aged in Washington, D.C.
Being a TN licensed clinical social worker, I am required to complete 15 hours of CEUs each year. For the past 20 years, I have attended the excellent annual workshops that have enabled me to continue to update my knowledge and skills to be able to provide expert and the latest information to my clients and students that prepare them to be more professional in their service delivery. Many of these clients and students attended these workshops on a continuous basis. I have also used this firm’s services on a personal basis from time to time. Their excellent professional staff is one of the best.
I have referred individuals and families to this firm, and the feedback I have received has been highly favorable.
After she retired as an educator, my wife has attended the annual Timeout workshops, and it has helped both of us to grow our knowledge and skills.

My experience with Takacs McGinnis Elder Care Law firm began in October of 2016. My husband had Alzheimer’s. They helped me every step of the way in getting the best help possible for him up until his death. Now they are guiding me in decisions pertaining to my life. I would recommend them to all who are facing difficult decisions as they or a loved one grows older.

Tim Takacs and his team have been a life saver for my family. When I didn't know what to do about my elderly parents they were there for me every step of the way. They helped and are still helping me through this difficult time in my life. I would recommend Takacs McGinnis for all of your elder care needs. They are the best ,because that is all they do.

I needed this law firm when my husband became very ill. They helped me set all the appropriate paperwork into place prior to him passing away. Without Barbara's guidance I would not have known what decisions would need to be made or how to make them.
