DO NOT HIRE TAYLOR HOMES! THEY ARE INCOMPETENT! We found out within a year of moving in to our house that the attic and crawlspace had NO insulation, at all. None. Our crawlspace also had no vapor barrier. AND, while we were having insulation put in the crawlspace we discovered that the master bath shower drain was not connected to the drain pipe! With Taylor homes we were given the freedom to design our own floor plan and that's exactly what we did. Admittedly it is difficult to go through the process of building a home that you haven't seen, but it's also very exciting to watch your dream become a reality. SCAM!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!! Finish building the houses you have on contract without cheating people. You guys are the absolute worst home building business I ever witnessed.
My daughter has been trying to get a house built by them. They have nice homes but the person in the Tn. office can't seem to get the plans correct. This is taking way too long! And here we are 15 months since Taylor Homes broke ground and the house STILL is not finished! We have reached 19 months since this nightmare began! No dream home here.
