A BIG Thank you to The Rodriguez Law Group. I was falsely accused of public intox and resisting arresting arrest in Santa Monica. The cops lied and now I was lookin at jail time. Words can’t describe how much I appreciate Attorney Edward Damas, for being punctual, attentive, always seeking useful information, and overall being a good listener. I came to him with my case envolving a unjustified arrest with obvious evidence I was innocent despite what the officers stated. Mr.Damas was able to after many months of fighting for me to get my case dismissed. Even more so by presenting valid unarguable points and facts relavent to the case which ultimately granted me my freedom and case dropped. I thank him very much and couldn’t have asked for anyone else or better.

This review is long overdue so please don't mind the dates. My husband was arrested on 11/30/18 for a warrant(failure to appear on a ticket) well while he was in custody he was questioned about a 211 w/ a taco truck (strong arm robbery) that happened two weeks prior after explaining to the officers he had no idea what happened they add charged him and put a block on his bail , at this moment I knew he needed a lawyer and a good one cause this was pure injustice. I stayed up all night in tears searching the web for lawyers and came across reviews for Edward with The Rodriguez Law Group so the next morning I made an appt to see him ( I was very hesitant due to the fact me and my husband are African American and the victims as well as the law firm are Hispanic. My husband life was in his hands if convicted he was looking at 20 years plus) needless to say during the short time I spoke with him I felt very at peace to say the least because his work speaks for itself plus his own personal experience w/ injustice. We came up with a game plan and within 32 days of Edward taking my husbands case he executed it to the T and beyond he got it DISMISSED WITH THE PROFF OF INNOCENCES paper sign sealed and delivered by the judge. Thru out the whole process Edward treated my family like his own answered calls, texts ,and emails day and night from me, my husband, my mother in law, and my husbands best friend without an excuse or attitude about the time of day or reasoning. Over the time we spent it became a relationship that developed between him and our family. I remember the first time he went to see my husband in jail he told him when I walk you thru these doors we are going to denny's and i'm buying you a grand slam, well least then a month later he got my husband out of jail and treated us to dinner. (to a blind eye you would of thought my husbands case was the only case he had cause he was just that on it). With that being said I would def. refer anyone to THE RODRIGUEZ LAW GROUP without second guessing it no matter what they needed a lawyer for cause I can grantee great service will be provided and in a timely fashion.

My life was a nightmare for 6 months. I was being falsely accused of a serious domestic violence charge involving a "knife". My lawyer Edward Damas didn't hesitate to challenge the prosecution every step of way. On the day of trial I was so nervous but Edward assured me everything was going to be fine. In the end he was ready to do the trial and the prosecution wasn't. Case dismissed!!! Thank you so much to The Rodriguez Law Group.

I would have never imagined needing to trust my life in the hands of an individual I had never met. None the less, a Lawyer I knew nothing about. Edward Damas, is the only lawyer I spoke to that gave me the certainty that he would work his hardest to drop the felonies and possible jail time I was looking to encounter. Fourteen months of court dates, an arrest, and the fear of not knowing what each court date would bring, Edward maintained 100% in communication with me and kept me informed. He was available through text, email, phone calls, office, it didn't matter how I contacted him; he answered. He trusted and knew his work, so much so, he was the only lawyer in the court room without a file/document in his hand to look over and revise as he spoke to the judge. On the contrary, he would revise the charges, documents and recall information as he was helping me understand my own case. He allowed me to express my concerns, thoughts and feelings, all though he trusted the outcome to be better than what I was facing. He knew the outcome on worse and best case scenario from the moment I sat in his office and expressed my life's concerns. Yet every moment he would assure me "there is nothing to worry about, and to just relax". Again, how do you trust someone you don't know?? But now I do, I know he will fight for you, I know he will help you, he will work for what is right, and work countless amount of hours with you; for you. I know that the most difficult time in your life; you NEED someone else to put the fight up for you. That is exactly what he did. He fought and fought, and called out what was wrong, and fought again. From the past year, of what was felonies and up to 12 years of jail time; he got me off with a misdemeanor and community service. Not only that, but he helped bring my sanity back, my happiness and the ability to tell you that you will NOT REGRET, having Edward Damas as your lawyer, your companion & ultimately YOUR VOICE.
