Went on a first date for outdoor dining. Music was good but loud making it difficult to talk. Did not know about music when making reservation. Food was very good but service was not.
Very disappointed with Thom Thoms tonight. I’m not sure if it’s new ownership or the fact that they weren’t prepared to handle the tables they had. The food was okay however the service was horrible. We arrived early for an outdoor reservation. We were asked if we had a reservation , we of course told them yes. All of the outdoor tables were full. We were told it was first come first serve . I had a reservation for an outdoor table and was put indoors because they didn’t have a table ready. This was the reason I reserved the table in advance. I also stated making the reservations that we were celebrating a birthday and they didn’t do a thing. I didn’t say anything at the time because there were drunk people at the bar and my husband and I with my son didn't want to stay any longer for desert. We were there a week before and the service was great. Just disappointed this time.
We were able to make a confirmed reservation on Open Table for outside which was not honored. We were rudely told first come/first served and were repeatedly offered an inside table which we did not want. We were also told how difficult managing business was and our reply that if you accept reservations it’s your responsibility to be able to fulfill them + be cordial to dining clients. Difficulty managing outdoor dining. Perhaps it will take time getting acclimated to this new normal.
We waited over 45 minutes to sit for our 8pm reservation. Restaurant was very crowded with multiple parties waiting. Waitress took our order. Appetizer came within 15 minutes and then we waited another hour after that for our entrees. Waitress no where to be found until we asked for her. She told us there was a large party in another room and their food was being prepared first. Asked for the manager, who apologized and took 20% off our bill. We got in with a reservation at 7:15 pm sat down at 7:30 pm Not too long to order drinks and salads One salad had no seaweed at all and it was a seaweed salad, took forever to find waitress to send it back Ordered dinner by 8 pm and waitress took forever bringing more drinks But to top it off took till 9:30 pm to get dinner People came over and apologized Waitress at one point said the food is being plated and it still took 20 minutes To get food It was insane I realize it was Valentines weekend but it was terrible terrible ... read more
Restaurant week usual of good food but small portions (I’m fairly certain the “6oz” filet was more like 4). Disappointing service - we like to go early to get in and out- first of about 4 tables there with a Full staff and took 15 mins to order our drinks and get water/bread. Then our waitress seemed to ignore our table. My husband had to wait over 10 mins upon getting his sushi app to get the soy sauce and chop sticks. I was shocked the waiter told me I could not get grilled shrimp with olive oil, garlic and lemon juice. I was not ordering from the Restaurant Week menu. I was not asking for anything elaborate. Drinks were good. Will not be going back. Not accommodating at all.
