My family has nothing but good to say about Thome PACE (Pace) in Jackson, Michigan! I went to them in September of 2017 to inquire about getting assistance for my parents who were in need of much support due to their health; however, had very limited resources to obtain such assistance. We are very happy to be a participant of Thome PACE. They are concerned about the needs of each person. We like the fact that when there is a need there is one number we can call 24 hours each day. We want to stay in our home and with their help so far that has been possible. The staff is very caring. Pace is a Godsend. My brother is on SSI due to his health issues and such. I managed his bills as his SSI representative. I had to move out of state unexpectedly to care for my Mother. My biggest concern was how I would be able to manage my brother’s needs doctor appointments…medication…laundry…cleaning…contact lenses and dental appointments. Do not sign up with these manipulative money grabbers. My grandpa has been with them a year. I have always been very involved with his care, taking him to all Dr appointment. They do not want family involved. They repeatedly cut me out of appointments. He has skin cancer and they haven't made an appointment for him in months. You can't call and make an appointment on your own once you sign up with them. All dr visits have to be scheduled through them. My father was with them for over a year and that was the worst care that he has ever received. Dr. Foust or whatever his name is told my dad that his life was over and he might as well give up. Told him that he should be in a nursing home instead of being cared by family. My dad stayed in the hospital with various infections due to bed sores that was caused by 1 of his many stays at the hospital.
