Mental health ER rooms were disgusting. Charge nurse did not care about piss on toilet seats and floors. Was not cleaned the 10 hrs I was there. Was not treated. Was not helped at all/ but given more trauma. I was completely let down by the mental health system. COPE even came to get me out after discharge to make sure I had a ride. I reported this experience to APS and will never be back. Nurses all busy on their phones during night shift- ignoring calls.

I took my ex to the ER for psychosis Wednesday morning. She was admitted to the Behavioral health unit. I don’t know the nurse’s name, she worked on Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. But during that difficult night she repeatedly greeted me with a smile and treated me with kindness. I was an out-of-state visitor dealing with a family crisis, and her compassion made a real difference. She even was trying to help me get caffeine in my system because I was up all night.

I wouldn’t seek any health services here that involved this emergency room as the point of entry. The nurses (particularly the night shift) don’t have a professional relationship with each other and it’s like one large night club. They talk about hanging out together outside of work all night vs. focusing on their jobs and patient care. There are better ERs in the area to visit that employ more mature workers.

Only come here if you want to hang out in the lobby and leave with permanent issues because they ignore you for 12 hours.

Just want to thank everyone here. Came here for food stuck. And everyone has been super nice and very professional. I’m thankful I came here. I came In at night and the nurses were excellent. Just like the day shift nurses. Thank you for what you all do. Seriously
