This was one of the best nachos i've ever had. The place is small, but the food makes up for it. It's always the smallest locations that have the best foods!
This is the best taco place I have ever been. The first time I was there, it was an amazing experience, and I decided to make it my go place when I visited NYC. Today is my second time of many future ones.
It’s a tiny spot in the heart up uptown just north of Dyckman, on 207st. The owners and chef are so sweet and always asking questions to make sure they get my order correctly. This is my second time ordering tacos here. The first time i ordered 3 tacos (regular way meaning Mexican style with cilantro and onions) and this time I ordered 3 tacos also regular style but the meats i did chicken, barbacoa, and beef. Ordered for delivery. Prior to ordering I had a few questions and the person who picked up the phone was very kind and patient. The food was so good. Arrived quickly, warm, and great presentation. It was delicious! Had the chilaquiles (does not include eggs, note to self- ask for eggs next time). Also got a burrito and it was delicious. They included a side of salsa roja and salsa verde (red being spicier of course) and it was yummy. Will definitely be ordering again, as both items were a great portion and filling.
My partner and I were hungry and staying in the area but didn’t want to cook. The high reviews of this place made it a winner and we now know why. The quality of the food and intentionality and care in which it was made was unmistakable. Maria was exceptional! We watched her make horchata from scratch (blended the ingredients and strained them) and she even sampled the batch to ensure it was balanced before serving.
