This is the second time I had to call them for an emergency. A HVAC unit had stopped working on a Friday night at 6:15 PM. I called and had a technician at my house by 7:30 PM. The problem was a backed up drain line. Gerardo stayed with the job which was not easy until after 10:00 PM after working a full day. He priced the work very fairly for the late weekend night. The problem was fixed and I am very happy with Vortechs. I also purchased a preventative maintenance plan to prevent this from happening again.

We have used Joe/Vortechs several times now, so it shouldn't surprise me that he is on Angie's List and highly rated! We got his name from a friend of a friend. Each time, Joe answers the phone right away and has come out the same day. He is prompt, courteous, and does a terrific job. Over the summer, we had several problems with our a/c unit right before we were having my son's graduation party. EEK! I called Joe (owner) at 6:30 AM. He answered the phone, took down my information and said he would be out between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM that same morning. He showed up at 10:00 AM and quickly diagnosed and isolated the problem to the outside unit. The fix was simply a burned out capacitor which he had on his truck. Easy fix, quick and friendly service. Very happy with Joe and Raphael from Vortechs.

I asked Joe, owner of Vortech, to check the recent AC installation he had done. Perhaps an ultraviolet light would be appropriate. He went to the unit and checked it out. Joe thought a UV light would be a good idea, and added one at our request. Very pleased with the results.

Service man arrived on time late saturday evening, was effecient in cheking all aspects of the a/c including the line pressure, filter, amperage draw, ducts and fan. The service was slightly expensive, but expected for a busy Saturday.
