My sister and I are in charge of my mom and dads finances,mom has dementia and dad on all kinds of meds for his heart and other aliments. Yesterday Dad decided he wanted a new car without telling us. They purchased the car and drove it home last night. Unfortunately they cannot afford a new car, but they got it and traded in my moms favorite car. After hearing about their purchase, I was shocked and then concerned,since they had no money to pay for a car payment. I contacted General Manager Mike Taylor, told him the situation, and he said just bring the car back and we will give your mom her car back! I was so surprised and shocked, I started to cry. This gentleman could had said tough, its sold, but no with grace he said tell them to being the car back and we will give them back their car. Dad also wrote a check to them, and Mike called accounting and told them to void the check and mail it back to them. Mike Taylor, We dont need a car right now, but we will go to you next time when ever we need a new car. Recently shopped an add that brought us to New Wave Auto. Was skeptical because that is always the first reaction when buying a car but had a great experience. Chris Patrick was very personable and won my trust in about 3 minutes. We got a GREAT DEAL and appreciate Chris’ down to earth approach and bottom line cantor . He didn’t waste our time and actually made it a good experience. Recommend and will be back. more »

These guys were great!
They were patient with our approval issues and we were able to drive out of there with a car!! We kept them past their closing hours and never felt we were being a bother.
I am sure they had family to get to but they worked with us and we feel that we were treated with respect and fairness.

Bought a car here 2 years ago. This week my wife needed a car, and since we always shop around before buying we stopped at a few dealers/carmax/used car lots that were near us before making the hour drive out to new wave wave.
Just like my experience 2 years ago here, new waves upfront and hagglefree prices were significantly better than anyone elses. Our best offer of the day before coming here was a 2017 Hyundai with 56k miles and a huge scratch on passenger side and 1 accident for $12,500 out the door and that was their 3rd and final offer. At new wave we ended up paying just a little more than that out the door, $12,900 for a 2018 Toyota with 42k miles no damage, no accidents and that was without having to haggle for an hour. It was a clear choice.
Rob was the associate that helped us at new wave. And I purposely say associate not salesman, because we never at any point did we feel like we were being pressured to buy. Rob some how managed to leave us alone long enough that we could talk and look amoungst ourselves peacefully yet still come around and check on us often enough that we werent waiting or looking around for him of we had questions. Its as if he could just sense when we had a question and show up.
After the how satisfied I was with the 2 cars I have bought here, I will no longer shop around for cars in the future. I will just be coming straight here!

I came to New Wave Auto with the hopes of being able to get financed without having to go to DriveTime or a “pay here” dealer. The staff was so incredibly nice and professional. Chris P. was my sales associate and Mike did my financing. They both went above and beyond to help me find the right car and get it financed! I was able to purchase a 2018 Infiniti Q50. Their prices are very reasonable, unlike other lots on town. Thanks to them, the stress of buying a car was alleviated and I will tell everyone to go to New Wave Auto for their next purchase! more »

We had a wonderful experience. Rocky was really nice and he didn’t pressure us to buy a car that we didn’t want. He also offer his help if we need it in the future. It was truly a unique experience. From the moment we stepped on the lot everyone was helpful, they did not push, we never felt like targets. Jermaine Hornberger made sure we were comfortable with our decision and with the repayment plan we signed. The entire experience was positive. I love the vehicle we picked out. It was exactly as advertised and Jermaine made sure that it was completely detailed before we left the lot. I cannot wait to show off my new ride, it is going to make the ride to work and play so much fun. more »

I truly wish car salesmen didn't live up to their cliched reputations. Everyone at New Wave was kind but they were definitely pushy and I felt overwhelmed. This was my first car purchase and I wasn't there to haggle. I just wanted a dependable car in my price range. I ended up getting a slightly more expensive car because, of course, that's the one they showed me. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with my car. If I didn't like it I wouldn't have committed but I definitely felt pushed around and like I had few other choices. The "manager" came by a few times to act like he was giving me a great deal and it was just so over the top. I'm here. I'm getting a car. Just use your normal human voice, please. Sales-Robot is not necessary today.
I'll add that after I signed all my paperwork they had me take a picture with my new car, shook my hand, and said we were all done. The car was backed in to the parking spot so, after being handed the keys, I left. I get to my destination and notice that they didn't put my license plate on. I call back and the guy on the phone said "you took off so fast we couldn't put the plate on". No. You forgot to put my plate on. I didn't rush out of there. You told me everything was taken care of. Not a huge deal to turn around and bring the car back but please don't act like this was my fault. I drive the 20 mins back, they put my plate on. I leave again.
I get a call about 30 minutes later saying I need to come back AGAIN because something was wrong with the paperwork. At this point, I'm really frustrated. I was in their office for over 3 hours getting the car and now I've had to come back TWICE to remedy mistakes that they've made. Apparently someone copied the VIN down wrong and so therefore my paperwork was all wrong and the insurance I just signed up for also needed to be fixed.
These are all minor things overall but my car buying experience wasn't as pleasant as I would have liked but I guess no one walks out of a car dealership truly happy. Three stars. Would still likely recommend.
