From the phone call into the office about inquiring apartments, the Staff provided details about their apartments and courteous. In the application process Staff was helpful in explaining their process. The apartment are spacious with crown molding and large cabinets (fixtures) so I didn’t have to buy additional furniture. It was clean, no smells or deteriorations. I actually this was the first apartment complex when I moved from Los Angeles and I totally recommend this complex because of the quality of apartment, amenities, and location to Durham essentials. Bad is just climbing the 3 flight of stairs when moving, that can be challenging for one person to do.

Clairmont at Hillandale has the best maintenance staff! Any maintenance repair I've requested has been addressed immediately and is usually resolved in a day or less. I absolutely love living here.

We just moved in to our place about a week ago, after which we noticed an issue with the dishwasher. Staff came right away and fixed the issue. Honestly it is a breath of fresh air from some other places I've stayed at.

I have had some recent medical issues lately and was hospitalized more than 3 times this year…… when I got released from the hospital I still had cognitive issues. The staff at Clairmont at Hillandale have helped me a great deal to adjust and explain things to me. I feel at home here and like the staff including Jeff and Nelson, the maintenance guys.

I have lived here since 2019. I love it here. Great staff!! My apt. is also extremely close to my doctor, grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants and esp. Duke Hospital. I also feel safe here, which is comforting. Kim and Laura are fantastic! Jeff and Nelson are very dependable when I have a maintenance issue. I will miss Kim, she left her job here a while back. I wish her well. I am moving to another apt. here in a few days, a smaller one. Hope to make some new friends. I give high marks and a glowing review to Clairmont at Hillandale!!!!!!!! I highly recommend it!!

no a/c for about 24 hrs. turns out that the buildup of sludge in the a/c drain was the cause. About 1 month prior to this event, the carpet got wet due to the same sludge buildup. I am concerned.....do I need to check the pipe and clean it to assure my a/c works? advice is needed.....
