Feeling gratitude after receiving my second Covid vaccine and reflecting on the past 13 months of this frightening pandemic. The job D’Youville did caring for their vulnerable charges was/ is extraordinary! You’ve got a very intelligent, professional, passionate and aggressive management and staff. They were always thinking 10 steps out and able to contain this scary, cruel virus as best they could. I am filled with gratitude and admiration.
Absolutely awful rehab center. Even the doctors at Lowell General don’t like or trust the doctors and nurses at D’Youville. My family member wasn’t given any medications and was forced into withdrawal on their care. She also wasn’t bathed regularly. If you care about your family members, don’t send them here. They will only suffer due to incompetence and lack of communication skills. To any of the staff if you read this: I hope you are greeted with the same quality of care when you’re old and in rehab.
This is long overdue. My mom was there for four months in 2022. Worst care ever! My sister and I were there almost every day and took more care of my mother than they did. My sister would have to go and help my mother because they would tell her at lunchtime they wouldn’t be able to do anything for her until after dinner!Care was terrible! Food was terrible! I wouldn’t trust them with a bag of dirt never mind an elderly person. My gramma was sent here due to her being a fall risk. They let her sit in a chair all day with nothing connected to her to warn them if she fell out, well she did. Face planted right into the floor and got a major concussion. She was left there bleeding out of her head and nose on the floor for hours. The blood was dried to her face,hair,nose, mouth, crusted everywhere.
