The experience working with Capitol was all around bad in our case. Their estimator did not estimate correctly which ended up costing us hundreds more in labor and supplies. When the “mom” called to check on our service she did nothing to follow up or make up for the issues that we clearly pointed out. Worse even, “mom” called again to see how our additional order went - when that was an order placed because of their mis estimate. She again was not apologetic or willing to do anything. Not worth buying from this family.

I will never use your company again or recommend you to anyone. When I ordered my shutters last year told the agent they had to be in by Christmas. They called to install my shutters several days before Christmas only to find out that they had the measurements wrong and the shutters didn't fit. Needless to say I didn't have my new shutters until 3 weeks after Christmas. The new shutters look nice but they were not the ones I ordered. I'm so happy that others had good experiences with this company. They sell a good product, hence the one star. Unfortunately, my own experience was that of poor salesmanship, a lack of follow up communication and just inconvenience all round. So "why would I buy from anywhere else?" -- for those reasons and more.

As the owner of the company I have called the customer and apologized. We discussed the issues and discussed how it could have been handled better on our end.
