I have heard good things about Johnson Healthcare Center so I was expecting the care would be top-notch. Overall the experience was okay. If I wasn't involved in my mom's care as much as I was I think more things would have fallen through the cracks. I would say if you send your loved one here to be vigilant by asking questions and being an advocate for your loved one.

great place to take take mom or dad. my dad went there for rehab after knee surgery and the staff, both nursing and therapy, were amazing. He lost a lot of energy and physical use of his legs staying just a short time at the hospital, but quickly gained this back while having rehab there. Nicole, customer experience specialist, was so helpful with his transition and was always available for questions. so grateful for the staff.

I would give this 4 stars if private rooms for rehab patients were available. My 92-year-old dad has been in and out of local rehab facilities in the past year, and this one is by far the best. The staff were so genuinely caring and competent - they tried to incorporate some socialization for the patients beyond just the rehab and my dad really appreciated that. CAUTION CAUTION CAUTION ZERO STARS! This is the worst place that I have ever experienced. I would not take my worst enemy here, let alone my mother. The staff does nothing but sit behind the desk. Completely useless. My mother fell and we had to call 911- they never bothered to check on her. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. KEEP LOOKING,!

WARNING!! DO NOT LET ANYONE YOU CARE ABOUT STAY HERE. My mother arrived fora rehab stay, she had been there previously and did well and wanted to go back this time. Wow are things different and unacceptable! My mom arrived late on Tues and was checked in and went to sleep. On Wed I visited and she had not been dressed and was still in the hospital gown and was soaked in urine. No one tended to her all day. This place is horrible. My brother in law was in there, had ants coming in from the windows and into his bed. Admin claims no one told them about it, NOT TRUE his son told them and showed them even took pictures. He came in and could walk, but now is bedridden, no physical therapy to speak of. Just left in the bed. Food is horrible. One tiny scoop of eggs, that look like margrine. Unetible,,,, no fruit, no veges, and one little bowl of oatmeal that looks nasty. RUN from this place. My MIL had hip replacement and was sent here to recover. The hip replacement failed and she was sent back to the hospital for a second surgery. When they tried to replace her hip she had an infection so the surgery was cancelled and she was sent back to Johnson's for recovery of the infection and she was to stay there until it was gone and then sent back to the hospital for her surgery. Very, very bad facility. I would not send my enemy to them for care much less my loved one. The Doctor at the Skilled Nursing Facility totally ignored the cardiologist/hospitals pharmacy orders. She made the decision to NOT keep my mother on the BP & Diuretics that her cardiologist had prescribed. After my mother gained over 22# of fluid, the doctor had the audacity of telling my mother she was just FAT from eating too much!
