My father in law went to the Kahl Home after being diagnosed with cancer. The staff at the facility was outstanding. Could not have asked for a better place during this difficult time. Thank you.

Very caring staff. My mother was a resident on the dementia unit for 1.5 years. She enjoyed the staff, food, playing cards, bingo and visiting with family. She recently passed away peacefully, which was a blessing. The staff including: nurses, CNA's, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, Nuns, etc were all wonderful. I would give the Kahl Home 5 stars.

The staff was outstanding. Always created me with a smile. I asked one of the attendants if they had a pair of toe nail clippers. About 5 minutes later a young man came to take my vitals and when he got done he asked it I wanted my finger nails cut. I told him no, my toe nails. He then clipped my toe nails for me. I told my son I felt like a queen. Their rehabilitation is top notch. And their cooks… what do yo say about the cooks except that the meals they served are gourmet.

Our family has had both my parents and my husband’s parents as residents at The Kahl Home. My in-laws were at the original location for about 4 years total. Our parents were at the new facility. Our dad lived there for 2 years and our mom, who passed Nov. 27, 2020, lived there for 6 years. My brother and I live out of state. We looked all over in our surrounding communities and couldn’t find a nursing facility that was anywhere like the Kahl Home. We decided that moving them to a place that was safe and where they’d be treat... read more

I can't imagine a more perfect place for my mom. We will always be grateful for the excellent care she received there.

Update: Kahl home decided to remove all my comments. Please if you truly care about your loved ones don’t send them here. They really don’t care about patient care and quality of life. I am truly disappointed on the intake process of this facility. My father unfortunately was found unresponsive a couple months ago due to a massive GI bleed. Due to the trauma on his body and brain being deprived of oxygen he experienced a common disorder called icu delirium and goes away with time. When discharged my father was sent to a re... read more

Just to start this facility has a bad reputation, not the best food, broke as can be and they show it. They are greedy, and careless. I don't think this facility knows what love is. They do not show it one bit. At this facility you will find floors that are often worked severely short, especially over third shift. 1 CNA to 22 patients when worked short over night, which some are even two assist which is impossible. The nurses are so rushed when they have 60 patients to pass pills to over night. They give their employees impo... read more
